Planet Earth Day!
Earth Day began in 1970, and was created as a day to celebrate our wonderful planet Earth and encourage people to be more environmentally friendly. So how can we do our bit? Here are some fun ideas to give you inspiration.
- Plant a flower or a tree.
- Eat locally grown produce.
- Go outside and take a walk and enjoy the April sunshine.
- Re-connect with mother earth – walk barefoot on the grass.
- Go hug a tree.
Did you know that if you laid all the neurons in your brain end to end they would be 162,000 km long! That’s long enough to go around Earth’s equator 4 times!
Look after your neurons everyone, and happy Earth Day.
